NPRDC -- EPS Enlisted Planning System

Enlisted Planning System (EPS) provides Integrated Marine Corps Strength Planning.  Just one of many research projects that have been implemented within the Department of the Navy through the efforts of the Navy Personnel Research and Development Center (NPRDC), San Diego, California.

Manpower research is the one most uniquely military because its focus is on creating and centrally managing the Navy's large workforce. Manpower planning represents the 'invisible' first step that that must be taken prior to actually recruiting applicants. 

Using projected requirements, new weapons platforms, and crewing needs of the future fleet, manpower planners project the size and composition of this future Navy force and estimate the resources needed to support it.
